Clarke, Caton, Hintz PC
Clarke Caton Hintz will provide the architecture, planning, urban design and landscape architecture services for the project. Founded in 1979, CCH is a mid-sized, multi-disciplinary firm located in Trenton, specializing in urban adaptive reuse projects. The firm has has completed many projects within the Roebling Redevelopment District, the site of the J.A. Roebling Sons Company Complex where Roebling Center is located, most recently (2016) the Headquarters for the NJ Realtors Association, plus many other major projects in Trenton including Waterfront Park and Roebling Mansion.
Barr & Barr will manage the construction of Building 103 and the structured parking deck. Barr & Barr is one of the Northeast’s elite construction companies, recognized by Engineering News Record as one of the nation’s top 400.
The company has done $1.5 billion in preconstruction work alone over the last three years and averages $300 million in revenues annually. It was established in 1937 to manage the construction of the Promenade, British and French Buildings in New York City — creating Rockefeller Center. Over the years the firm has achieved 95% accuracy in cost estimation and 85% repeat business.
In 2016, Barr & Barr completed construction of the NJ Realtors Headquarters on Hamilton Avenue, in Trenton, one block south of Roebling Center, and located within the same Roebling Redevelopment District. The project was designed by Clarke, Caton, Hintz. Other recent Barr & Barr clients in central New Jersey include the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, and Princeton University.
W.S Cumby will manage the renovation/construction of Buildings 114 and 110. W.S. Cumby is a family owned corporation founded in 1981 by its current President, William S. Cumby Jr. For the past 32 years the company has provided Construction Management at Risk and General Contracting services in the geographic region that includes Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
W.S. Cumby provides professional construction management services for projects ranging in size from $1M to $85M. In its 32 year history, Cumby has never failed to complete a contract, has never been issued any penalty or damages (liquidated or actual) for late project completion, and has no judgments or suits pending against its organization or its officers. Cumby is currently managing the renovation of Building 101, Roebling Center Phase 1.
